University of Belgrade, Technical Faculty in Bor has been publishing the Journal of Mining and Metallurgy since 1965 and in the former Yugoslavia, it was recognized as a journal of national importance. In 1997 it was divided in two independent journals dealing with mining and metallurgy separately.
Journal of Mining and Metallurgy, Section A: Mining is an international journal that publishes current research on the theory and practice of mining.
